The 10 Day Defense package showing the streaming video program, the Quick Start guide ebook and the 30 minute video critique certificate

The Self-Defense Course We Recommend Over More Gear

Almost everything we recommend here is an object. A pack, a light, a kit, something that shows up in a box and sits in a closet until you need it. This one is not, and that is exactly why we are running it.

It is a ten day self-defense course for ten dollars. Ten techniques, one a day, taught on video by an instructor who has been doing this for three decades. No gear arrives. Nothing gets added to the pile in the garage.

Why This One Matters More Than The Gear

There is a line in the sales material that happens to be true, and it is older than this course: people do not rise to the occasion, they fall to the level of their training. That idea runs through everything we publish. It is why we push dry practice over buying another pistol, and why we keep saying a packed cheap bag beats an empty expensive one.

You can buy every item we have ever written about and still be the person who freezes. Nobody sells a product that fixes that. The only thing that moves the needle is reps, and reps require someone showing you what to practice.

Most people never start because the on-ramp looks impossible. A dojo wants a contract, two nights a week, and a year before anything feels natural. For a lot of our readers, with jobs and kids and a commute, that is simply not happening. So they do nothing, and tell themselves they would figure it out if it came to that.

Ten minutes a day for ten days is a different proposition. It is not mastery. It is a floor, and a floor beats nothing by a wide margin.

What You Actually Get

  • The ten day video program. Ten techniques built around the problem of a smaller person facing a bigger, stronger one. Streams on a phone, tablet, or computer, or downloads for offline.
  • A verbal de-escalation video. Do not skip this one. We would argue it is the most useful thing in the package, and we will explain why below.
  • A quick start guide. A short ebook covering why the techniques work, which helps them stick better than drilling blind.
  • A 30 minute video critique certificate. You film yourself running the moves and send it in for feedback. If you use it, this is the closest thing to real coaching in the bundle, and most buyers will never redeem it. Be the one who does.

Everything is digital and arrives immediately. One payment of ten dollars with no membership attached, backed by a 30 day money-back guarantee.

The De-Escalation Piece Is The Real Value

Our home defense piece argues that most people skip to the last layer and ignore the first several. Same principle here.

The overwhelming majority of confrontations a normal person will face are avoidable. Reading a parking lot, keeping distance, picking the exit, and knowing what to say to a person who is escalating will keep you out of more trouble than any technique ever will. Winning a fight is a bad outcome. Not having one is the good outcome.

That is why the de-escalation video being bundled in matters. The physical moves are the thing you hope you never use. The talking is the part you might use this year.

Straight Talk

  • Ignore the $445 value stack. Adding up invented prices for each component is standard practice in this corner of the internet. The only question that matters is whether ten dollars of video is worth ten dollars, and at that number the bar is low.
  • Ten days does not make you dangerous. The course says as much, to its credit. You will not be a fighter on day eleven. You will know ten things you did not know, which is the honest ceiling here.
  • Video has a hard limit, and it is the lack of a resisting partner. Technique learned against air falls apart against a person who is actively trying to stop you. If anything here clicks for you, go find a gym with live sparring. Treat this as the thing that gets you off the couch, not the destination.
  • Credentials are the seller’s claims, not ours. The promotion states more than thirty years of instruction and work with military and federal agencies. We have not independently verified any of it. Judge the instruction on whether it makes sense when you watch it.
  • Nothing works if you do not run the reps. Ten dollars buys access, not skill. The folder of unwatched videos on your hard drive is not self-defense training. Block ten minutes on the calendar for ten days or do not bother.

Who Should Do This

Do it if you have been meaning to train for years and never started. Do it if you want your spouse or your teenager to have something more than good intentions. Ten dollars and ten days is small enough that the excuse stops working.

Skip it if you already train somewhere with resistance. You are past this, and your time is better spent at your gym.

Of everything we have pointed you toward, this is the one that actually changes what you are capable of rather than what you own. That is worth ten dollars and ten evenings.
